iPod touch much?
My first experience with an iPod touch was when my oldest asked for one for Christmas a few years back. Her grandmother and uncle got right on it and she opened one Christmas morning. I gave it a cursory glance and made a mental note to check it out once the initial thrill wore off for her. Thus far, we had only had varying versions of the nano so I was intrigued by this “touch screen” version. When I finally did look at it, it was months later and I realized this was no nano. I had no idea it could do so much. Now that I work for MacMall, my son asked for one this past Christmas. I had just upgraded to an iPhone, and realized how similar they were. The iPod touch is basically a slimmer version of the iPhone without the phone and 3G capability. Over Wi-Fi, we were now connected. He could text my iPhone, he even called me using an app he downloaded. With our recent addition of an iPad, we are connected in so many ways. Both my kids carry their iPod’s with them everywhere they go. There are so many things they can do with them besides just listen to music. Their high school has an app and so now my kids can check their bell schedule and even grades right from the iPod touch. What their cell phone lacks, the iPod touch more than makes up for. He even downloaded an educational app or two for his baby sister to play with. The iPod touch comes in 3 sizes, 16G, 32G and 64G, so there is one to fit your needs. Please come see us soon and use code word “apps” to receive $20 off a purchase of $75 or more(discounts not applicable on iPad2 or the New iPad).
