MacMall Daisy Chain Challenge

Mac users may be known for their love of sleek design and for owning aesthetically pleasing workstations, but that doesn’t stop us from pushing the boundaries of our gear . . . and our floor space.

Recently, Macworld unveiled the results of the Mac Pro Daisy Chain Challenge, and the end result was quite impressive. Utilizing the ability to daisy chain 6 connected peripherals per Thunderbolt port, the Macworld lab was ably to connect 42 peripherals to their Mac Pro.

While the typical Mac Pro user might not have 42 devices laying around to daisy chain, we’re still curious:  how many devices can you daisy chain?  MacMall wants to see, and has unveiled the MacMall Daisy Chain Challenge. Everyone is invited to submit photos of their daisy chained setup via the entry tool, or by sharing their photos on Twitter or Instagram with the hashtag #MacMallChallenge. The owner of the entry with the most votes will receive an APC Power-Saving Back-UPS Pro 1000. After all, a backup UPS comes in handy when you are powering a plethora of devices.

To thank those who participate in the voting and let their friends know about the competition, MacMall is also offering additional prizes. Information for claiming free entries for these prizes is available on the contest page.

Voting ends on May 20th, so what are you waiting for? Show off your setup and share your  #MacMallChallenge photos with @MacMall today!
