Waterproof case for iPad Pro
It took a while, but finally there is now a waterproof case for an iPad Pro.
Devised by Cataylst, its case for the 12.9” tablet is now available for pre-order, with the first units being shipped out by May 31st.
Considered as the first official waterproof case for the iPad Pro, it has secured IP-68 Waterproof certification to handle depths of up to two meters. Like its smaller versions for the different Apple devices, Catalyst touts the notion that all of its cases are 100% tested for this, making it a perfect accessory for the tablet in whatever endeavors it is being used for.
In addition, this has secured Military Standard 810G certification for shock and drop protection, specifically drops from up to four feet in height. It also is dirt proof and snow proof, so this basically protects the iPad Pro from any kind of scenario.
An impact-ready grippy rubber bumper provides a soft grip for the user. That complements a clear front and back, which intends to highlight the minimalist Apple tablet design. In particular, that clear front includes an integrated touchscreen film that ensures unimpeded access to all features, including Touch ID and Apple Pencil capability.
Even with the case, taking photos and videos will be a breeze thanks to the hard-coated lens that does not detract from the quality of photography.
Audio quality is assured with the acoustic membranes present on the case.
The rubber ensures the ports and jacks that surround the periphery of the tablet are accessible, especially for those that use after-market charging cables and headphone jacks.
Complementing the protection of the case is a bonus flat-pack, multi-position stand.
No details as of yet if MacMall will be making this particular case part of the available catalog. Check the site out for more details.
